Explore Our History

NewSchool of Architecture & Design has a rich history of serving a diverse student population through its unique program offerings and hands-on learning experience.

NewSchool obtained regional accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission in 2014. Additionally, in 2016, the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) granted NewSchool an 8-year re-accreditation for its Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture programs.

The NewSchool campus is rich in diversity.
