The mission of NewSchool of Architecture and Design is to nurture and inspire design-minded learners. Our philosophy is rooted in design thinking, and we focus on preparation for practice and project based learning through our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
NewSchool is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission. Programatic accreditation for our professional architecture programs (B.Arch, M.Arch I, and IPAL) is provided through the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
NewSchool is an innovative design and architecture school located in San Diego, California, that offers a range of degrees for students looking to advance their career in architecture, construction management, design studies, media design, interior architecture and design, and product design. Our School of Architecture prepares students for careers in Architecture and Construction management through a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. NewSchool is one of the few initial architectural schools that offers an Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure (IPAL) program which allows students to complete license requirements while earning their graduate degree in architecrture.
