In order to assist you with the graduation process, the following events have been established to begin the transition from student to professional.

At this event, you will complete required graduation documentation and book your one-on-one appointment with Career Services to begin finalizing your resume and portfolios. This gathering will include all departments you will need to work with to complete the transition from student to graduated student. This is a mandatory event for all who are planning on graduating in winter and spring of 2017. A complementary lunch will be provided.

Friday, June 23, 2017 | Employer Only Event 12pm-2pm | Family & Friends 6pm-9pm

GradShow is an exhibition showcasing thesis projects and final portfolios from our graduating classes. The annual event highlights the disciplines from the variety of programs offered at NewSchool. The event typically features over 100 individual projects comprised of large-scale renderings, models and digital media highlighting the best work of each alumni being displayed.

Each year, the Career Services team hosts this annual gathering and structures an Employers Only Event from 12pm-2pm. This event provides companies and local press access to YOU and your work which is being exhibited at the GradShow. The private affair provides exposure and opportunity for intellectual engagement and dialogue in a reverse job fair-like atmosphere. Many individuals graduating from NewSchool have secured employment during this event and employers attending have benefited from being able to scout the next generation of innovative leaders in one convenient location. It is expected that all graduating students participate. In order to assist you in your planning, a handout will be provided at a later date, with printing and hanging schedules. This will be made available in your studios and in career services.

The GradShow concludes with a spectacular hosted celebration of accomplishment from 6pm-9pm for you, your families, friends and the community at NewSchool to enjoy and revel in your achievements.
