About Stephanie

I am from a small town in Washington state home of the Seeaa…HAWKS! While I lived there I earned my undergraduate degree in Fine Art at Eastern Washington University. As luck would have it a chance to come to sunny southern California presented its self about 3 years ago and I could not be happier that I took it. I began to notice after I put down some roots here that many other creative minded people have selected San Diego as their home for many reasons but for me, it was the welcoming community made up of transplants like me and the strong network of entrepreneurs that are always incubating innovation.

The amazing weather here has bred quite an active community. When I am not at NewSchool I enjoy going on adventures whether it be traveling to Tokyo or just hiking a local tail with my chocolate lab.

Art and design will always remain my passion, however, I believe it is the skill to think creatively that has awarded me success in many other fields such as; the medical community, publishing, advertising, marketing, technology, the app world and finally education. My motivation has always been deep-rooted in compassion and helping people around me flourish. It is such an amazing gift to be able to help the future of the creative world (That’s You!) begin your unique journey to achieve a rewarding career.
