The venerable Kenneth Frampton will deliver a lecture titled: The Scope of Architecture in the 21st Century. The lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 11th at 6:30pm and will be at a special off-campus location at the Westin, San Diego Gaslamp Quarter.

About Kenneth Frampton:
Kenneth Frampton was trained as an architect at the AA School of Architecture, London and subsequently worked as an architect in England, Israel, and the United States. From 1965 – 1972, he taught in the School of Architecture at Princeton University and thereafter he has served on the faculty of the School of Architecture at Columbia University, with the exception of years 1974-77 when he was a senior tutor in architecture at the Royal College of Art London. From 1986-1989, he was Director of the History/Theory PhD Program at Columbia University. He has taught as a visiting professor at schools worldwide and is currently Ware Professor of Architecture, Columbia University. Read more on our events page.
