Join us as students and faculty discuss a recent student project about the future of the Mission Valley community. NewSchool students worked closely with the City of San Diego, the San Diego River Park Foundation and members of the Mission Valley Planning Group to propose solutions for the continued growth of Mission Valley.
The San Diego Region is projected to grow by a million people by the year 2050. The region will need 330,00 new housing units, space for 500 new jobs and supporting services and infrastructure. The discussion will be part of the kickoff to a series of public meetings leading to discussions of a comprehensive update of the Mission Valley Community Plan.
