Leigh Pfeiffer, RA is a Licensed Architect, NCARB, LEED AP, Licensed Interior Designer. Leigh has over 24 years of architectural design experience, and 14 years of experience in teaching at the university level for sustainable design studios and hybrid digital explorations of analog and digital works and comprehensive architectural higher level design studios. She has worked as a thesis committee member for the last decade with bachelors and masters students, and has produced and implemented original syllabus and classes at the university level. As a designer, Leigh has worked in the cultural architectural sector on teams for clients of Disney, Nascar, Hardrock, Universal Studios, and NASA. She has been involved in urban planning with San Diego, Daytona, Wolfsburg [Germany], BeiHai [Chinga] and Corona. Her responsibilities include design to construction documents and LEED AP documentation inclusive of residential experience. She has spent the last 3 years working with a structural firm to push her knowledge and design integration further. In a team approach her emphasis is on front end explorations through to successful finished projects with the client and team members via fluid conceptual efforts to further design collaboration. This process she brings into the academic studios for engaging the student approach and furthering faculty collaborations.
