NewSchool offers 11-week semester abroad or 2-week summer course options for interested students.

Who is eligible to study at NewSchool for a semester?

The semester abroad at NewSchool is open to college students currently enrolled in a university. The 2-week Summer courses are open to students and working professionals above the age of 16. Participants in the Summer courses do not need to be currently enrolled in a university.

Will my credits transfer?

NewSchool is a fully accredited American university and our course credits for the Semester Abroad are normally the equivalent to 30 ECTS per semester. The 2-week Summer programs are not for credit.

What is the cost?

For the Semester Abroad, please contact our enrollment specialists at StudyInCalifornia@newschoolarch.edu. What are the housing options?

NewSchool can assist students in finding affordable housing near the school. The most popular option for international students is to stay at a local hostel within walking distance of campus. Students who are 17 or under are required to stay with a local family in a Homestay.
