Former distinguished visiting professor, James Kruhly, will be hosting a lecture about the progression of architecture through history. The lecture will trace our progress from a primitive architecture designed with an intuitive respect for nature, culture and place through an Architecture of Nowhere, ending with a positive collection of truly great modern buildings which are of their time as well as of their culture and place.
James Oleg Kruhly, FAIA, is principal of KRUHLYARCHITECTS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A graduate “cum laude with Distinction in Architecture” from the University of Pennsylvania and Yale School of Architecture, Kruhly was the first Distinguished Visiting Professor at NewSchool.
