Design and Teaching Philosophies: Architecture is the pursuit of creating beauty in man-made environments. Nature has always humbled our efforts in this pursuit. With the new and deeper understanding of the complexity of the natural world and its systems and our greater ability to mimic these systems toward a more sustainable future, we are moving into interesting times. Sharing these ideas and training young designers to engage with these trends is a rewarding challenge.
